Foul Play

This is a 2 week game jam entry. Its an inverted tower defence, where you place towers to defend little chicks from rats as they try to make their way to a new coop.

In this project I took a technical artist position and helped make some of the code as well as implement the art and sound effects.

I'm really happy with what we made in the time although there are still a few bugs and things that I would like to change and fix in the project.

Controls:
Towers can be clicked on in the bottom left and then position the mouse where you want them to go and left click again to place them.

To place fences, you need to click like a regular tower to place the first post, but then hold the button down and drag the mouse to place the rest of the posts.

Left click on rat corpses to sell them for extra cash.

Turrets cannot be placed on the path or on sloped surfaces.

The rats will come from their holes indicated by the purple glowing areas.
